The Carabinieri police force in Italy is a totally awesome crime fighting force that is now part of the country's official armed forces. Although this is a recent development, the Carabinieri have existed since the mid-1800s. They appear to be captains of wooden sailing ships from that era.
The wool-blend fabric, white shirt and tie, flat shoes, and leather holster have been replaced by a windbreaker made of a technical fabric that is both waterproof and elastic.

2. Vatican City

The blue duty uniform is the most common Swiss Guard uniform you'll see on your Vatican City tour. Most people, however, associate them with their red, yellow, and blue striped ensemble. Gala uniforms are colorful costumes worn by guards when they perform more ceremonial duties. As you exit St. Peter's Basilica on your Vatican Museums tour, you'll notice guards with this distinctly Renaissance appearance. Swiss Guards have worn this style of gala uniform since 1910.
These eye-catching outfits are custom-made for each guard. Tailors sew them inside the Vatican barracks, and each uniform takes about 30 hours to make! Despite the fact that they take so long to create, a guard's personal uniforms are all destroyed once they have completed their duties.
3. Ugandan People's Defense Forces Air Force
Uganda's air force work uniform appears to indicate that they couldn't decide whether to blend in with the ground or the water and decided not to make a choice. To make matters worse, the dress uniform appears to have not changed much since the days of Idi Amin.
4. The Spanish Legion
While the Spanish Foreign Legion's dress uniform may not be the best military uniform in the world, we cannot discuss uniforms in the world without discussing what is going on here.
When Queen Isabella took the throne, the French handed over the French Foreign Legion to the Spanish. The title was changed to the Spanish Foreign Legion in 1835.
During a rebellion in North Africa, the Spanish Foreign Legion served there, and other military campaigns followed.
The Spanish Legion now performs more peacekeeping missions.
Furthermore, these uniforms haven't changed all that much over the years.

5. Greek Presidential Guard
Each uniform takes 80 days to make and is made by special craftsmen in the Presidential Guard Barracks' tailor's department. The uniform is made up of eight major components.
1. The fustanella, a cotton kilt made from 30 meters (98 feet) of white cloth and featuring 400 pleats to represent the 400 years of Ottoman occupation. The fustanella is derived from the traditional Continental Greek uniform.
2. The fermeli, a waistcoat embroidered in various traditional designs with white or gilt thread. The yellow stripes (if any) indicate the wearer's military rank: sergeants have two stripes, corporals have one. The vest can be blue, black, or crimson; the captain of the guard wears the latter.
3. The krossia, with blue and white fringes to match the Greek flag.
4. The epiknemides, black silk garters known colloquially as kaltsodetes. Officer garters are blue rather than black.
5. The periskelides, which are two white woollen stockings on each leg.
6. The anaspastos, a garter that holds the periskelides in place.
7. Tsarouchia (foundes; singular: founda), red leather clogs with black pompons. There are 60 to 120 nails under the sole, depending on the size of the clog, to keep the soldier from slipping. Each tsarouchi weighs about 1.5 kilos on average (3.5 pounds).
8. The farion, a scarlet fez (fessi) with a long black silk tassel on the front and the national emblem.
Under the waistcoat is a white cotton shirt (ypodetes) with a typical shirt stand collar. It has three-quarter-length sleeves that are very wide.
The officers' uniforms are more similar to the original outfits worn by the Greek insurgents (klephts). The longer kilt (fustanella), the more elaborate waistcoat (fermeli) in Tyrian purple (crimson) with gold embroidery, whose sleeves are worn closed on the arms rather than fastened to the coat, red-and-gold gaiters (touzlokia) that cover the entire lower leg worn over red trousers, and red boots (stavália) are the main differences. Their rank is shown beneath the national emblem on their hat (farion).
6. United States Navy
The regular uniform of the United States Navy may not win any awards.
The Navy, on the other hand, reintroduced an updated version of the dress whites.
The new fit is a little slimmer than the previous white uniform.
However, the top has side zippers to ensure both the fit and the ability to exit the dress top.
Furthermore, blue piping contrasts with the crisp white for a more modern appearance.
The Navy dress white uniform includes the dixie cup hat and the classic neckerchief for those in E6 and below.

There are also buttons on the bottoms of the sleeves and along the front of the uniform's top.

Tall hats are meant to inspire fear by being intimidating. While that is unlikely to work in battle today, it was common a couple of hundred years ago.
9. British Beefeaters
The Yeomen of the Guard and Yeomen Warders are best known for their scarlet and gold State dress uniforms, which were first worn on state occasions in 1552. A knee-length scarlet tunic, scarlet knee-breeches and stockings, and a round brimmed hat known as a Tudor bonnet comprise the uniform. Queen Elizabeth I popularized the white neck ruff.
The Yeomen of the Guard's State dress uniforms are nearly identical to those of the Yeomen Warders, but the Yeomen of the Guard can be distinguished by their cross belts worn from the left shoulder.
The thistle, rose, and shamrock, emblems of Scotland, England, and Ireland, appear on the uniforms of the Yeoman of the Guard and Yeoman Warders.
