Squid Game season 2 is expected to launch in December 2024 |
An Overview of 2024 Fall TV Premiere Dates
The next few months will see the premieres of hundreds of movies and TV shows, both new and old, scripted and not, on streaming, broadcast, and cable services.
The list includes hundreds of new broadcast, cable, and streaming shows starting up through 2024. Many of the shows are still marked as "TBA." It includes the first episodes of new series and seasons, shows coming back from breaks, and one-offs like live sports and awards shows, but not movies. There are shows on the list that don't have premiere dates yet but are likely to get them in the next few months.
NBC made the first announcements, with premiere dates for The Voice (back) and Brilliant Minds (new drama) starting on September 23 and going through October. Night Court's premiere date is November 19. All of your favorite shows are on the schedule, like all three of One Chicago and two of Law & Order (with Organized Crime moving to Peacock and Found taking its place). It also has two new comedies, Happy's Place and St. Denis Medical, whose first episodes will air right after each other. Then came ABC's, which started on September 17 with Dancing With the Stars and High Potential and ended on October 18 with Shark Tank. In addition to 9-1-1, it has Grey's Anatomy, Abbott & Mills, and Ryan Murphy's new show Doctor Odyssey.TV premiere dates for the fall of 2024
Starting with Survivor on September 18, CBS will show "Sneak Peeks" of the new drama Matlock starring Kathy Bates on September 22 and the new action-adventure reality competition show The Summit on September 29. The second episodes of both of these shows will air in October. The network's official premiere week starts on October 14 with NCIS and the prequel NCIS: Origins. The last episodes of Blue Bloods will also air during this week, as the show's 14th and final season was split into two parts, with the first part airing this spring.
And on September 8, after two NFL games, Fox's new animated comedy Universal Basic Guys will air for the first time. On September 22, after football, the new lifeguard drama Rescue: HI-Surf will also air for the first time. After Monday, September 23, when Season 5 of 9-1-1: Lone Star starts, it will go back to its regular time slot. Murder in a Small Town, a new drama, starts its first 90-minute episode on Tuesday, September 24 at 8/7c. A week later, the second season of the anthology show Accused starts.
