'Inspector Ellis' - Sets Early November Release Date on Acorn
'Inspector Ellis' on Acorn TV November 2024 |
Acorn TV and Channel 5 have decided on the premiere date for the first season of Inspector Ellis, or Ellis as it is known in the UK. (The prefix "Inspector" is commonly appended to the titles of such shows on American television; for example, Morse and Lewis, which aired on ITV but was renamed to "Inspector Morse and Inspector Lewis" on PBS.) First airing on Channel 5 at the end of October and then on Acorn TV at the start of November 2024, the series will have a delayed debut.
Ellis and Harper will visit different towns each week to figure out what went wrong with solving the case this time in the first season of the show, which consists of three feature-length episodes and is styled like a mystery-of-the-week (similar to Van der Valk).
