A tragic shooting unfolded at the Sam’s Circle Walmart in St. Clair, Pennsylvania, on Sunday afternoon, leaving multiple people dead and many others injured. Chesapeake police confirmed they responded to an active shooter situation at the Walmart Supercenter located on Terry Rich Boulevard, where chaos erupted as shots rang out.
The police presence at the scene was substantial, with numerous law enforcement vehicles and emergency responders flooding the area. Pennsylvania State Police are seeking two teens after a multi-county incident and officer-involved shooting in the Midstate.
Four subjects fled the vehicle on foot and two subjects were taken into custody. Troop L Frackville is leading efforts to apprehend the remaining two subjects. Troopers from Troop H, Troop L, and PSP Aviation assisted in this incident.

However, police have not yet established a connection between the high-speed pursuit and the shooting at the Walmart.
The incident caused significant traffic delays on Route 61 north of St. Clair and the Coal Creek Plaza. The police have advised residents to avoid the area until further notice. Law enforcement officials are expected to release more information as the investigation progresses.

Gunfire and a pursuit forced state police to evacuate a Walmart in Schuylkill County on Sunday and temporarily close a nearby highway as they hunted for the suspected individuals.
State police officials reported that the Walmart in Saint Clair was emptied on Sunday afternoon. An approximately mile-long section of Route 61 adjacent to the store was closed to traffic, though it reopened around 4 p.m. that day; however, the entrance to the Walmart remains off-limits.
Of the four individuals believed to be involved, two have been apprehended while the other two—minors under the age of 18—are still at large.
By about 5 p.m., authorities had provided only limited details about the incident. In a brief statement, a spokesperson for Troop L—which covers Berks, Lebanon, and Schuylkill Counties—explained that the state police are investigating an "officer involved shooting" that originated in Troop H, responsible for Perry, Cumberland, Dauphin, Adams, and Franklin Counties.
